Blue Collar Black Tie Awards Gala September 20, 2019

MOWIT will be holding its first Tradeswomen Awards Gala to recognize women succeeding in the building trades on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at the Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 Hall.

Missouri State Senator Gina Walsh, D-Bellefontaine Neighbors, will be the guest speaker for the event. Walsh, president of the Missouri State Building & Construction Trades Council and a retired member of Heat & Frost Insulators Local 1, is a pioneer in the Tradeswomen’s Labor Movement.

The event, which is the group’s first major fundraiser since its inception, will include food and drink, tradeswomen awards and a dance party at the end.

The official name of the event is the MOWIT Blue Collar/Black Tie Tradeswomen Awards Gala. The cost to attend is $45 per person or $360 for a table of eight.  Program Ad sponsorships are also available.  Details can be found on the HOME page.
